Thank you for everyone who attended API: Movements of Heritage! It was a sold out show! The coordinators worked VERY hard to bring you this show and we’re very happy that it sold out! $500 will be donated to SFHepBFree!

Asian Student Union is also a FINALIST in APA Heritage Award for 2010!

AWARDS CRITERIA
In reviewing submitted nominations, the Awards Committee will review the distinct contributions each
category’s nominees have made in one of the following areas:
• Promoting APA culture and heritage
• Strengthening unity within the APA community
• Making a unique difference addressing an unmet need in the Asian Pacific American community

All ﬁnalists will be invited to the Awards Ceremony on Monday, May 3, 2010, at 5:30 p.m. at the Herbst Theatre. The winner in each category will be announced during the event and presented with the following awards:

All three Awards recipients will receive the APA Heritage Awards trophy, a
Certificate of Recognition from the City and County of San Francisco as well as be featured on the website apasf.org. The Community Impact Award recipient will receive a contribution of $1,000.00 from the APA Heritage Celebration Committee in support of its programs and services.
